If you're at secondary school and are aged between 11 - 17 then this card's for you. It’s totally free of charge; you just need to pay a visit to your local venue and ask the receptionist for an Energize application form, or email us at mail@edinburghleisure.co.uk . After filling out a few personal details, the card is yours.

In return you'll get a voucher to bring a friend to the gym, for a swim, or for a 9-hole round of golf for free and you'll also collect points for every visit which you can use to pay for future visits just like a Boots Advantage Card (sorry boys we don't think there is a more blokey equivalent). So once you've got enough points you could have a free swim or gym or round of golf. Or any other activity you fancy.

Junior Membership
So, we’re thinking that you want to get active, but you don’t want to pay and arm and a leg for it. Well, we’ve got it sorted. For only £22.00 per month, plus a one-off £18 joining fee, you can become a junior member, which gives you unlimited access to any of our 15 gyms, 10 swimming pools, over 500 fitness classes every week, climbing at the world's largest indoor climbing arena and much more.

Just a couple of things: if you’re under 16 you'll need to do an NRG Zone Intro session before being able to use the gym – it’s just so we can show you the ropes and make sure you’re using the equipment properly. Also, there are a couple of fitness classes that you’ll have to wait until you’re 16 to try out – but don’t worry because there are plenty of others to choose from until then.
